The Day the Hives began

It was like any other ordinary day. Bill and I were excited to be in our new basement. The painting was done, the carpet was installed and Bill set up the surround sound. Now, we could finally enjoy the room. We had also survived one year of marriage. Life seemed great and it was.

We watched TV and had an amazing night of leftovers. I made my grandma's famous Matzah ball soup and a huge salad. We topped the night off with some cake as well. Then around 8 O'clock, I started to itch. I thought they were mosquito bites, until Bill saw they covered my entire body.

I had hives. I never had anything like this happen to me before. I was allergic to something. After several visits to my allergy doctor the next few weeks, the hives never disappeared and got worse and worse ever day. I went to 8 doctors over the next few months will little hope that I would ever figured out the cause of the hives.

It was until 6 months later I saw a cyclic pattern. I had figured out what was causing the hives. I was allergic to my birth control. YASMIN.

Fate had intervened and it was telling me something. Bill and I wanted a family, but we were not going to start until June or at least that was our plan before the hives. Nooo, the hives started something. The signs were there and I was not going to ignore them. We are suppose to start our family now. A new chapter that is awaiting us.
