I can't eat hotdogs because I am Pregnant!!!!

I am pregnant!!! I can't believe I am actually typing these words.  We only have been trying for two months and I guess we did something right.  I had been waiting the whole week to take a pregnancy test. A week ago, I kept having these cramps in my stomach and really thought it was my period saying "Not this month Rachael."  After 32 days of waiting, it was make it or break it on Thursday night.  I took my test and it kinda showed a faint pink line.
See the faint Line (Its the line to the left of the dark pink line)
We got really excited.  Well, let me re-phrase this.. I started jumping up and down and crying.  Bill, on the other hand, was shocked and immediately said, "Take another test".  He kept handing me glasses of water every 10 minutes so I could pee on another pregnancy test.  Luckily, I had another test lying around. It was the Clear Blue digital.. This test states the obvious, either a "Not Pregnant" or a "Pregnant" sign right in the view bar.  There is no gray area with this pregnancy test.  Two hours later.. the answer was there!!!!

Now, looking back I wish we had a video camera to tape the moment (like the couple on You Tube who sent it to all there family members).  I started crying again (because I am a hormonal baby) and Bill's look was priceless. Fear, shock and excitement were racing through our minds.  Omg, we are going to be parents. What were we thinking?

Per Bill's request, I bought another pregnancy test today after work just to get rid of any doubts.  Here is the result.

See the blue cross = Pregnant
Bill is currently away in Wisconsin visiting his BFF Matt while I am stuck working this weekend.  I really wanted to tell everyone at work today but I just found out yesterday so they will have to wait a couple of months.  We still haven't decided when the right moment will be to tell the family and friends ( in person or over the phone).

Next week, I have to make a million calls.  Mainly to three different doctors.  Now, I have to get super serious about my diet. I have to watch my blood sugar like a hawk and unfortunately no more hot dogs or salami for the next 9 months.  These are sacrifices well worth making.

oh no coffee, no meds (only tylenol), no soft cheeses, no green tea, sunny side up, etc

i know it's hard to think of lunch foods, but you can have pasta with lots of veggies and grilled chicken, you'll have three of the food groups you should eat (carbs, veggies, protien). also try tofu.
