Week 5

I had my first official doctor appointment with my Gynecologist Monday afternoon.  The appointment wasn't as great as I thought it would be.  By now, I have already taken 5 pregnancy tests and all were positive.  I thought when I scheduled the appointment, I would be getting blood work or another test.  Instead, nothing.  She just took my word for it and refereed me to a high risk OB in Annapolis.  She never even gave me a due date.

I will be seeing my new OB and a Diabetes educator on May 2.  My Gynecologist scheduled me for a sonogram at 7 weeks which will be on May 10.  I am super excited.  Bill will be joining me now for every doctor appointment.


With the power of on-line tools, my due date, based on my last period, is Dec. 24, 2011.  When I saw this date, I immediately thought of some crazy things.  We found out around Easter Weekend and the baby will be born around Christmas.. maybe this baby is Jesus (LOL).. Bill and I both laughed at the thought.  We are super excited and now all the things on our to-do list are growing.
