I just want to shout to the world, "I got maternity pants and they are awesome." I didn't think I would have to buy them so early on, but last week was the clentcher. I could barely button my work pants. I was holding them up with a hair band. It was pretty sad.
Last weekend I made a trip to Good Will (my new favorite store) and headed to the maternity section. I was able to pick up 3 pairs of work pants,1 pair of dark denimin jeans, and one purple hippie shirt. All cost me $25. yes thats right.. super cheap. Each pair of pants was only $5.00. I don't see any reason to spend tons of money on pants that I will only be wearing for less than 6 months. All the pants were super comfy because they had an elastic wasteband and a stretchy stocking section for the growing tummy. I don't think I will be able to give these up once the baby is born. If only I could resort back to velco shoes then I would be set for life.
As for my preggo symptoms, I think my hair is getting back to normal, but now I am noticing my nails are cracking. I think I might need some supplements to go along with my prenatal pills. I am also now finding myself getting up every hour at night to go to the bathroom and my allergies have gotten far worse. There is nothing I can do about this.
I don't know if it is my imagination, but I may have experienced
my first baby moment earlier in the week. I felt several hard pains in
my left side about 5 minutes apart from each other. This happened 5x Monday night. I knew it wasn't
indigestion or gas and I was feeling fine up until I was lying down,
then the hard pains occurred. I read online most people start feeling
baby movement around week 16-22. My co-worker Mary Beth said she felt
some as early as week 14. So I don't know yet what I felt exactly.
The baby is growing and is now a size of a naval orange.. Ahhhh.. its getting so big.
Next week, I will be sending out emails to hear your opinions of whether its a boy or girl. I have heard from a few, but please feel free to post on here. It will be in next week's blog entry.

Can't tell from pictures. I carried like a basketball when I had my son and all around when I had Rachael. Guessing it's a boy this time around.
