But, there was some very exciting news on Tuesday as well. I got a text from Amisha that she was at the hospital Monday night, but heard nothing until late afternoon Tuesday. Amisha delivered a healthy baby boy named Veer. He is a cutie. Only 8lbs 22 ounces. ADORABLE!!!
I am so happy for Amisha and Anand. I know how long she has been waiting for him to arrive.
As for the rest of the week, I have been doing a lot of organizing and planning. Bill and I solidified daycare with Vera and we are all set to go in March (yay). Now, I am working on my baby shower. The invites are here and all I have to do is my registry this weekend (hopefully weather permitted). The shower planning has been stressful because I don't have anyone close by to help... so its all up to me at this point. It will get figured out.. now I have about 5 weeks and its crunch time.
On other news, I had my 5 month sonogram and everything looks great. He is 15 ounces. I got some great pics today especially a nice penis shot (LOL). The baby is starting to get some fat on his cheeks and he was smiling at me. I have also gained about 14 pounds and my doc. told me to watch it now.. Which can't be a good remark. I guess I will have to cut back on some food intake.
The only thing different this week is that I am starting to get itchy skin. My thighs, stomach and wrists have been very itchy. It comes and goes at this point. I hope its just a temporary thing.
