Every little thing now sets me off and I find myself crying for no reason. A couple weeks ago I cried over pizza. Yes, crazy!!! I have been enjoying my pregnancy so far almost without a care in the world. Now, I have been brought to reality. I (WE) have so much to do to prepare for our baby boy.
I didn't realize I was off the beaten path until several friends told me the horror of finding daycare. We may find ourselves on a waiting list for 9 months or more. I am going to try tackling daycare next week. I have already sent out an email to some neighbors looking for infant daycare in the area, but I have yet to hear anything yet. I have a list of possible places in Easton, but from what I hear (on the block) that most don't do infants and the ones that do, are very costly. Times like this I wish family was closer.
This weekend is the start of some nursery prep. Yes, we are finally starting some fun baby projects. We have to clean up the room and paint the bookshelves white. I will be cleaning while Bill is sanding, priming and painting. YAY!!! We have also come up with a nursery theme.. OCEAN LIFE.. I know its pretty obvious, but thats what we are doing. We want to paint some crazy waves around the room and then put lots of sea life decals everywhere. There are tons of marine related items for babies. I can't wait to get this room started.
It may look something like this:
I have also moved on from chicken nuggets to craving soda now. I seriously drink at least one can a day. I'ts cold and refreshing and beats the heat .
Our little boy is moving around now and I feel him at least once a day. It is an amazing feeling. It is hard to describe, but its more like a little flutter or a pinch in my left side. He is now the size of a sweet potato:

Rach...I love how your soda example has a beer can!
