WEEK 16

Well this blog will be brought to you by the mind of Daddy Brooks aka Bill while Rachael feeds Colbiashi.  It's been another fun week.  Colby helped Daddy plant his garden and take care of our front yard while Bjornin' it. I can honestly say I didn't expect so many of our neighbors to have come out to say hello.  I guess I've become the quintessential "Suburban Dad" now that I used the Bjorn while watering our yard.

Other news, Rachael, Colby and I headed north to the land of the north for some always enjoyable time on the NJ Turnpike.  Thrilling fun aside, we went to Great Grandma Rhoda's place for a quick get together with the family.  They were nice enough to babysit  spend time with Colby while Rachael and I had our first "date" in over 2 months.  What did we do with this time of freedom you might ask?

May the odds be ever in your favor!

Anyway we were both extremely excited to see it, especially after I got Rachael hooked on reading the three books of the series.  It was a good movie and pretty faithful to the book.  And I was even more happy that I doged a bullet and didn't have to see Titanic 3D!  Win, Win!

On Saturday afternoon we headed over for Zena's surprised birthday party, again another outing sans the Colbster.  There was a huge turnout and I think she was genuinely surprised.  And the food was a-m-a-z-i-n-g....the greeks sure know how to have a great party.  Sunday we said our goodbyes and spent a few minutes with Amisha and Veer.  It was the first time the two guys met and I was surprised at how well they got along.  We'll have to wait and see when they are older if they become best of buds!

All for now, until next week Blog Readers oh wait, only Rachael reads this blog!  Hi Sweetie!

Oh, here's the weekly photo--
