We had our 4 month check up today and we got a lot of our questions answered. No, he doesn't have to wear a helmet. His flat spot is not as severe as we thought. Just need to increase tummy time. The poor kid had to have a lot of shots today and it broke my heart to see him cry. Unlike last time, Colby cried for a long time in the office. I could feel his pain. About ten minutes later, he forgot the whole thing.
His final weight was 16lbs 1 ounce and he is now 26.5 inches tall. I weighed him last week and he was about 16.8 ounces.. so I guess my scale is not as accurate as I thought. On another front, I have only 2 more pounds to lose. I can also fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes (a big WAHOO).
The big news of the week. The doctor gave the go-ahead for solids food.. mainly rice cereal until he is 6 months. He had his first big spoonful tonight. Here's his cute little face. Yummy!!!
