We tried mixing the cereal with Enfamil formula and that was a huge mistake. He had an allergic reaction to it and his face turned bright red with hives. (maybe from milk/soy). Now, we mix the cereal with the Similac brand formula or left over frozen/refrigerated boob milk.
I thought the cereal would help him sleep longer. Boy, was I wrong. He is up now once or twice a night. Bill and I long for the days when he will sleep through the night. Next week, daycare will give him cereal (along with breast milk) for breakfast and we will still feed him rice cereal in the evening. It is so much fun watching him swallow it like a normal person. Has anyone ever tasted it before? Gross!!!
On other news, still no flip yet. I will keep you posted on when that big moment arrives. However, he is learning how to jump in his new favorite toy. Nana and Phyllis got him a jumperoo and he loves it. Here is the little guy playing around.
Some baby news: My college roommate Jess and her husband Ryan had a baby girl. Shauna Riley Wolff was born on May 7, 2012 at 6:04pm weighing 6lbs 7oz. She is so precious. This year is the year of babies. My other bestie Nital is pregnant with her third baby and he/she will be here in October. 2012 is going to be an amazing year.
