As every day goes by I really want to tell more people, but I have been keeping quiet. (Very unlike me because my face gives everything away). Once the family knows next week, I think the cat will be out of the bag so to speak.. Then, everyone can find out.
I do have a dilemma coming up where my pregnancy might come into question. Bill and I are attending my co-worker Amanda's wedding this weekend and I want to act "not pregnant". (I don't look pregnant yet-- thankfully only a little tummy so far). Its gonna be hard to avoid sugary foods and alcohol since I know there will be some good choices there. I don't know how I can drink water all night without someone figuring it out. They are very crafty people. I was thinking of getting a beer can, pouring the beer out and replacing it with water. Then everyone will think I am drinking beer and not see the clues.. Lame or No? Any suggestions???
On a side note, Bill and I finished our last dessert class at Chesapeake College. We made some yummy creations. Look at what beautiful desserts we made:

You can do diet coke and "rum"... or club soda and a splash of cranberry juice with "vodka". no one is going to want to try your drink if they think it's has alcohol in it, espcially if it's something standard like those drinks. Just make sure the bartender give your the right straw and glass (sometimes they give you a different glass and straw if it's a non-alcoholic drink).
ReplyDeleteAlso, be careful of the club soda... I don't think you're allowed to drink that. maybe use sprite instead?
OR - get a glass of wine and when no one is looking, have bill drink a big gulp. Yes, Bill will get drunk (since he's gonna be drinking your wine and his drink) but at least people won't question it.
yes, I speak from experience on both examples. ;)
p.s. i love those dessert pics. i want the last two!
