Week 27

The baby is kicking like crazy.  I have had several dreams, more like the essence of angry birds, where the baby is kicking so hard against my belly, he just "breaks" out of his shell so to speak.  Hopefully, this is just a dream.  I want the baby to come, but I am not ready now.

Next week, I am officially in my third trimester.  Its the home stretch baby.  I hopped on the scale this morning and I am up 20 pounds.  Supposedly, I will be gaining a pound a week up until week 40.  By the end of this pregnancy, I may have gained 30+ pounds.  I am already feeling it in my back.  It aches all the time and no massage helps. 

Bill and I finally got the changing table after it was delayed by FedEx for 3 weeks.  We opened it and realized a piece was missing, which set us back another week until it arrived.  The changing table is finally put together and half the nursery is done.  We put on the fish decals and it looks amazing. 

This weekend is my baby shower and I am so excited to see everyone.  I hope the weather holds out and we have fun.
