Week 30

I started off the week with two goals in mind: (1) Put away everything from the shower and (2) finish all my thank you's.  I didn't quite complete all these tasks but I did make a lot of progress by the end of Week 30.

Bill put together the dresser on Friday/Saturday, which meant I could get to work.  The nursery is very organized now.  I love the room.  I spent the rest of my Saturday fixing up the closet.  We plan to put up some wall art too, but I don't know when that will happen.  Just imagine above the crib will be the babies' name (along with the two mobiles).

We still need to put together the rocker (which came earlier in the week), but that will be happening next weekend.

The big shocker of the week was on Friday at our 7 month appointment.  It went very well and the baby was roughly 3 lbs.  I asked the doctor a multitude of questions about the birthing process.  After several moments of talking with him, he mentioned that because I am diabetic I will definitely not be going to 40 weeks.   The shock was there.  He said we will access the situation when I am 37 weeks.  So, I may be having the baby anytime between 37-39 weeks.  Bill and I looked at each other and were like, "@h8%, we got a lot to do.  Baby will be here faster than we know it."

  1. Yeah, I think most likely a couple days before X-Mas since I don't want to be in the hospital for the holiday. I like December 20 as a good birthday.
