Week 31

On Friday, Bill had his P.E. test.  Bill has been studying for this exam for the last year and it now is finally over.  He won't find out the results until January so until then, he can relax a little.  With the exam being over, he has some "free time" do all the little odds and ends he has been neglecting... like the nursery (LOL).

We put together the rocker on the weekend and added some finishing details. The nursery is 98% complete and the last remaining piece is the baby.  Okay, I lied we still need to get several more items and hang up some things, but for now all the hard work is done.  Here is a nice shot of the entire room

Today, Bill's co-workers surprised him with a baby shower at his office.  I was in on the plan from the beginning (like a month) and it was hard to keep the secret. It was beautiful.  Natalia and Alicia decorated the conference room in a sea-life theme.  Alicia made a whimsical ocean cake and gave out hand-made fish chocolates as favors.  We even played some games.  The best part was the fish-bowl of advice from his friends.  They were hilarious and very heartfelt.  I am gonna have to make a collage or message board and hang them somewhere in the nursery.  Bill and I received some well-needed missing items that I did not get at my baby shower.  Here is the changing table now with an actual cover on it:

Friday we have our 8-month appointment.. I think after this appointment, I probably will have to be go every week until the baby is born.  As every week goes by, I am getting more excited.  Plus, this weekend we partake in an all day "Labor and Delivery" class at our hospital.  Hopefully, the videos and the talk don't scare me to death.
