Colby is starting to sit up by himself. We can put him down and place him in a sitting position for at least a couple of minutes before he falls over. Bill even brought him to Target and he sat in the cart. Amen. We have been waiting for this day for awhile. I hate bringing the infant car seat everywhere we go.
Colby also flipped over at daycare last week. I was so pissed I missed it. He flipped from back to belly. Colby has now done both. At least tonight, Bill and I got to see him do belly to back again. I rather he walk/crawl instead. What is the purpose of rolling over except not to get a flat head?
There were several things that gave us some scare this week. We thought Colby had pink eye. His eye's were covered in mucus and his eye was red from me cleaning it. Bill and I looked up symptoms of pink eye and realized he did not have that. We think his allergies may be the cause. He is stuffed up constantly (just like mommy and daddy) and since there is no where for the fluid to go, except his ears and/or eyes. After much research and picture searching, we concluded (without the help of a trained doctor) that his tears ducts are clogged. We have been massaging them, trying to release all the junk in them. It has helped a little. The little kiddo is happy otherwise :-)
Here is some photos of him earlier in the week.
