WEEK 8

Colby is two months old.  Time has flown by.  I look back now on all our hospital photos and see a completely different baby.  A couple weeks ago, I thought we never would get into a routine and everyone said, "one day it will be easier".  Now, I actually believe it.  Colby has a bedtime now.  Usually after the last feeding, we put him into his crib between 8 and 9 o'clock.  He even has started to sleep for 5 hr stretches.  I am so happy now because I have gotten some sleep :-)

Last weekend we took our second road trip to New Jersey.  We stayed with Great Grandma Rhoda Friday night.  She just had an eye surgery that day so she wasn't up for any photos since her eye was black and blue.  Colby loved seeing his Great Grammy.  Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Dave also came by to see the little man.  He got tons of love on the weekend.

On Saturday we stayed with Zena.  Jackie and Nital both stopped by for a short visit.  This was their first time meeting Colby.  He enjoyed playing with all these new people.  Sunday Amisha and Anand came over as well and showered him with tons of love.  Colby enjoyed meeting his Aunties.  On a somber note,  Nital's kiddies and Amisha's baby were sick and so Colby didn't get to meet them.  Hopefully, we can all get together again and get a photo with all the kids.

We have no more road trips planned for a while. Our last visitors of the month came today-- my dad and my brother Robert.  They are already driving me crazy.    Visitors are nice sometimes but only when they are helpful.  Luckily, after Friday the rest of the weekend will be ours.

Here is Colby at two months:
