Colby is three months old. He is such a big boy now, weighing almost 15lbs. Yes, I said it.. 15lbs. He also started daycare this week and it was harder on me, than it was on him. I wanted to make sure I could get to and from work on time and to see how many/amount of bottles he needed each day.
I am glad we did the trial run because at the start of the week I gave him 3 bottles of 4 ounces and by the end of the week he needed about 5-6 ounces. I believe he had a good time playing with Vera and the other two girls there. I however wish I knew what went on during the day. When I am with the little guy, I sing and read to him and do tummy time. I asked Vera to do tummy time with him so hopefully she is following through with my instructions. Also, to our surprise Vera is willing to do the cloth diapers instead of the disposables. Yay for us.
After the first day of daycare, Colby came home exhausted and he slept through the night. This was the first and so far the only time. I am hoping this will be a start to many more nights like this.
Bill had a chance to take Friday off so I took the little man out of daycare so we all could spend the day together. Colby took his first trip on a metro train to DC. It was a perfect 80 degrees, in March, to see the Cherry Blossoms.
Well, my three month "vacation" is coming to an end. I am back to work on Monday :-(. I wish I could stay home with him forever.
Here is Cillow at 12 weeks:
